WHY TO DO APPRENTICE AFTER ITI ,ELIGIBILITY FOR APPRENTICE
What is apprentice ?
After completing a course job seekers have to work under a skilled trainer/company for a limited period of time at a low wage (salary), that is called apprentice.
In apprenticeship you have work comparatively at a lower salary than the regular job seekers.
Lower salary does not mean that your working hour is reduced proportionately. You have to work either for a govt firm or for a private firm for 8-12 months..
They will provide you monthly stipend of 7000-9000 per month.
You have to work same may be 12 hour/8 hour /6 hours per day.
After ITI, it is mostly 7-12 course mainly focused on practical knowledges.
How to get apprenticeship after ITI?
After ITI you can get apprentices in govt firms like railway, drdo, isro, Ordnance factory and PSUs.
You can also join Private firms like TATA, SUZUKI, LAVA.
But doing your apprenticeship in govt firm is far better than doing the same in any reputed private firm.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DOING APPRENTICESHIP?
- Specially if you doing your apprenticeship from railway then they will give you preference in their group D posts. (T & C apply)
- You will get job easily in railway recruitment where there is a requirement of skilled worker
- Workload is lesser than normal jobs.
- Apprenticeship is your learning period. You will get wages for learning something from skilled workers.
ELIGIBILITY FOR APPRENTICESHIP:-
- 10th pass /12th pass
- 50% above mark in 10th
- NCVT/SCVT certificate from ITI
- Age 18-24 (for private companies)
- Age relaxation for sc, st, obc, handicapped, transgenders.
